PC7 Renewal Form Instructions

 NEARLY ALL PC7 FORMS CAN BE LODGED VIA POST WITHOUT ANY REQUIREMENT FOR PERSONAL ATTENDANCE AT THE EMBASSY.

Applications that are lodged in person are ONLY accepted via scheduled appointments. Please call our office to arrange an appointment.

 Processing time: All applications lodged with the Dublin Passports Office will be processed within 10 business days provided that your photographs and application form meet all requirements.

 PC7 Renewal Forms are a simplified option for adult applicants that are renewing their Australian passport. The form may be posted into the Embassy provided that there are no changes to any of the printed information recorded in the photograph/data page (excluding the photograph). If you require any changes to any information recorded on this page, contact the Dublin Passports Office for further advice.

 You must enclose your previous Australian Passport. This will be cancelled and returned with your replacement passport. If you are not in possession of your previous passport, you must complete a PC8 Application form and apply in person.

Photograph Requirements: With the advent of ePassports, a strict photograph criteria is in place. Australian passport photograph requirements differ from Irish Passport requirements. Photographs taken by booth style machines, home digital cameras and black and white photographs are not acceptable. More information can be obtained from the Embassy’s website.

Current Passport Application Fees: FEES CHANGE ON A MONTHLY BASIS.
